Introducing Hammer of the Gods!

28-Oct-2009 Our brand-spanking new Vikings 28mm hard plastic set is the very first in a Dark Ages range that will cover roughly 600-1066AD. First Vikings, next Saxons, and after that...we are planning MANY, MANY releases for this period.

So without further ado presenting the new logo for the Hammer of the Gods - The Dark Ages!

I like it, but....maybe you should switch that axe for a hammer? It's just too easy to snidely ask where the hammer went...

I read this in the forum the Hammer of Thor is etched on the ax blade!

Look real close ,,,you can see the Thors Hammer engraved on the axe head..not a bad version of it if i do say so. Also ,,,notice what else is on the logo...a straight european style sword,,,would be much like that used by the normans/saxons/vikings...just about anyone this side of Byzantium...but their is also a scimatar ,,as used by eastern peaples,,arabs, saracens ,,,turks ,,what ever,,,you get the point...so we know the vikings are here,,,and the saxons will soon follow...so when are the armies of islam go to start appearing Tony ???...Howard ???

Saxons, now that sounds interesting! These Vikings look really nice, so I'm quite curious as to the looks and the armies that this range will be made up of.

Cant wait (though I have trouble keep up the painting at your pace of releasing), but does that mean that Might of Rome is finished?

Excellent Tony!! I have to agree with JJDiffey’s comments….I want that on a tee shirt (XL Please!) and a carry bag would be nice too! The Vikings are truly impressive and we will have some pictures for you soon after we return from Fall In.

Please forget the Saxons/Normans and the armies of Islam. Just go for the inbetweeners who fought them all. The Byzantines! Certainly my vikings (just bought the plastic samplers) will travel to Miklegard and see service with the Varangian Guards.
