What to say? It's finally here, and WOW! It was worth the wait. Really digging the rifle-at-the-ready advancing pose.

These look great. Are you familiar with a new film, now in production, called Iron Sky ... ? Your Shock Troops look very much like their Moon Nazi Waffen-SS troops. Your new figures present some very interesting possibilities ...

The prime example of why design by committee does not work. These things are horrible...

After all the time watching there develop I am more than please with the results. My IG will be getting another full platoon larger now! Remember for when you do the command/Hvy weapon guys...BACKPACKS!

Would love to see a pic of how they compare to a Imperial Guard Cadian trooper. Also when will we see heavy weapons and command guys. This could become another company.

Wargames factory strikes again. ( NO pun intended but some helmets look like a darth va... You know) I did not expect this to come for at least some months since the vikings came out not so long ago. Marvelous models, sinsiter enugh and the head-choices just insane.

New California Republic soldiers! Now I just need some Brotherhood, Raiders and Super Mutants and we're good.
Carrington Ward commented on 16-Apr-2010 04:23 PM4 out of 5 stars
Nice. As if the heads on the sprue weren't enough, it looks like these torsos might make a nice match with Pig Iron Production's various heads.
Gailbraithe commented on 16-Apr-2010 04:52 PM5 out of 5 stars
These are pretty awesome. I'll have to pick at least one set up, maybe more.
anderson commented on 16-Apr-2010 05:21 PM5 out of 5 stars
Really great and much anticipated. I like the compromise between natural proportions and the so-called "heroic" style of sculpting, which may be more sturdy but is unrealistic and sometimes borders on the "mutant." Now waiting on the armed civilians and generic power armor -- any previews on those designs? Thanks for a new breath of fresh air and some great additions to the plastic, multi-pose scifi market!

GW be buggered; these are fantastic! Not just as troops for line formations. Escorts for heroes and specialists of all sorts, the poses and mixes of weapons are already fantastic. But best of all, using plastic sprues made by other manufacturers means these babies will be perfect for hundreds of eras; from WWI to the far reaches of any galaxy. Top marks Warlord; these may well end up you number one seller ever.
Sasquatch commented on 17-Apr-2010 12:54 AM5 out of 5 stars

Just when I thought you guys made enough mini's that I collect you come out w/ another range that I just have to have. First it was the Celts them it was the ancient light infanrty, then the Vikings ( all the while still collecting the colonial british as IG praetorians) & Now this! Honestly the sprue was done really well & the inclusion of grenade launcher & flame thrower really kicks A*% ! Well it looks like I'll be ordering even more stuff from you guys in the foreseeable future
Anonymous commented on 17-Apr-2010 01:48 PM3 out of 5 stars
I like the models very much, but considering the price of some of your other models these are kind of expensive. They are the first models to break $1 for a single figure. I understand that there are many extra options, but the price is a bit prohibitive for a historical gamer looking at sci-fi.
@ Cheap Historical Gamer commented on 17-Apr-2010 01:54 PM3 out of 5 stars
I don't think you're the target audience mate. LOL 10000 IG players just creamed themselves to get $1 models.
Fernando Sousa commented on 17-Apr-2010 02:47 PM3 out of 5 stars
Do you ship to Brazil? If so, I'm totally going to order some of these guys...
hithero commented on 17-Apr-2010 05:18 PM3 out of 5 stars
Fantasy models are always more expensive than historicals (don't know why though) and these a still half the price of GW's!!
Veneficus commented on 17-Apr-2010 08:49 PM3 out of 5 stars
Will there be a heavy sprue with thee guys kneeling or laying down ala other heavy sci fi models that we see with heavy weapon teams?

Awesome! Really superb, congratulations WF I hope these guys are massive sellers for you. Great price as well. They'll be joining my Praetorians as storm troopers but I can think of other uses as well. Well done everyone...
Ballsonchin commented on 18-Apr-2010 09:45 AM3 out of 5 stars
Liking them enough to order. Interesting head choices. They will do for Traitor 40k Guard well enough. Not digging the Vader helmet either. I will gladly trade those for other heads on the sprue from other buyers. Looking foward to command, heavy wepons and maybe some artillery.
JJ commented on 18-Apr-2010 11:22 AM3 out of 5 stars
I absolutely love the torsos and heads, very well done. but I absolutely hate the weapons arms, the shoulder pads seem unnecessarily large, and cartoony they remind me of the 1st generation plastic space marines.

Once more....GREAT JOB! I wish you guys were around way back when I started collecting minis, the figures are nice and an easy way to collect an army! Hope to latch on to these soon!
Jon commented on 19-Apr-2010 06:28 PM3 out of 5 stars
Overall, I like them. That said, I'm not pleased with the additional cost. I realize that all the extras included drive up the production cost, but seeing as I think most of the extras don't look very good, I can't place much value on them. I'll still pick up a few boxes from TheWarStore, but not as many as I had intended.

Nice. I'm wondering how they would fit with the West Wind SOTR heads? Because put some british heads on these and they'd be fantastic Warzone-style trenchers...
Allan commented on 20-Apr-2010 03:27 AM5 out of 5 stars
GW is doing a great job and their kits and miniatures are really very good. But they are inspired by well established sci-fi/fantasy cultural images and literature and you can´t really say that the GW worlds are unique in a broader sense. So I think when WF releases these fabulous miniatures they´re also a part of the same sci-fi/fantasy cultural heritage. No more or no less than GW!

I ordered some of these shiny new troopers, and I am looking forward to receiving them. I am however a little miffed by the way that WF have taken the money from my VISA account allright, but they have'nt seen fit to send me a confirmation e-mail. This is my first purchase at WF, is this the way it always is? Forgive me for asking here, but they also seem to be to busy to answer the mails I've sent.

For anyone wondering what the "fun extra" might be, here's a clue. Think Arnie and the invisible alien in the South American jungle that goes by an alternative word for "hunter", and starts with a "P".

Great...! I realy like those head : half german / half Vader ! It's cool to read that it fits to the cadian troops. I mean it could be interesting to create veterans or "shock troops" of the Imperial Guard (may from be another planet system etc.)

SkaerKrow commented on 06-Jul-2010 09:28 AM1 out of 5 stars
From what I've been told through email correspondence, there have been unforeseen personal and logistical hurdles that WGF has had to clear before the Shock Troopers were ready for shipping. Those are potentially out of the way, and packaging should have started this weekend. Possibly.
Shaun H commented on 19-Jul-2010 11:12 AM4 out of 5 stars
The flamer model for these is almost an exact replica of the flamer illustrated in "Siege of Vraks"vol 1. This only goes to confirm that these will be ideal figures for a "death korps" army. Cannot wait to get my hands on these.
