Sweet Germanicus, those are sooo cool! I am starting an Ancient German army in honor of my ancestors just because of these figures!

The new ancient Germans are really good. The new vikings are really good too. The new Greatcoats and sci fi stuff could become a phenomenon on the net if advertised properly. Don't underestimate how much people really want new plastic sci fi products. I dont want to be rude but compared with the zulu stuff and nomidians, the ancient Germans are lightyears ahead. The detail is nicer, the faces are better and those seams you get on the arm joins look smoother. As I have said before these minis could be used against the vikings as dark age minis with a few conversions. You could just about use them as viking age Irish, Welsh or Scots. It just takes a little converting on the shields and maybe the heads. But more to the point where can people buy shares in Wargames Factory?

Cor..those are sweet. Guess my Zulus and British will have to wait now. Time for more Germans! Well done WF!

They do look GOOD. Oh well I "need" more cavalry, more WF cav. I only have 24 Celts done and 12 more in processing.

At last 28mm hard plastic! Fantastic range of figures that gets more useful with every release, cant wait for more as I can now afford 28mm wargaming.

Potentially very useful for all sorts of armies with some shield and helmet swaps. Does anyone know if they only come with bare feet ? The painting by Steve Drake (top picture) suggests brown boots which makes them much more versatile than bare feet.

They look great! I would also like to know if they come with the option of boots vs. bare feet.
