Send 13 may from USA Arrived 16 may in Netherlands And the mdoels are superb, I also ordered some roman cav (mostly for bits) so I won't spoil the noble (or light) extra bodies. Only now I have to put some 90 horses together...............

waiting on my local store to get them in stock, not sure why they haven't as of yet. I wish to support my local hobby shop. question: will they have shield transfers also like the celt box sets? on another note: always add photos of the box sets, I don't buy if I don't see, same reason I don't buy from some companies at all. Earlier reason I held off buy from wargamesfactory till I saw what they looked like.

I'm glad that the heads aren't repeats of the warband box set & that a new standard has been included as well, once again another great product @ an affordable price, just list the horse sprue in the on-line store & you'll be selling alot more box sets.

Drachen commented on 25-Jun-2009 12:01 PM5 out of 5 stars
You can see the horse sprues on the chariot page Morhgoz. It looks like they're re-using those ones here.

There are a few issues with this set, one of the light horsemen seem to not fit correctly in the saddle. It looks like a scaling issue that made the rider slightly small. On the shields with spears attached, they are out of scale to the other single sheilds, larger, this goes for the infantry box set that has the same shield types. still no word on buying the shield transfers seperately? [THIS ENTRY HAS SPELLING MISTAKES - PLEASE CHECK PRIOR TO APPROVAL]

Great box set - but can I suggest putting some painted examples in this section (to give some idea of construction & painting).

It has been said a lot.. but, photo's of some finished models (painted or not) would convince me to buy. Looks very promising though. (Are the pictures already there? as in: are these the same as the models seen at the numidian skirmishers?)

Bought this yesterday at NAN's Games in Houston. Great figures! Very detailed! I plan on using mine for conversions for my Imperial Guard 40K army. Thanks for the great product!

Great set of figures!!!!

Great figures, have enjoyed putting them together. The only issue has been that as Steve said above, ont of the two light cavalry bodies doesn't seem to fit on the saddle properly. Have had to build mine as Heavy cavalry

As much as I have enjoyed Wargames Factory products, I was a little disappointed with this one. There are only four types of figures, and as for the equipment, it would have been better to straight up repeat much of the gear from the Celtic Warband. There are a few (too few) good Celtic longswords complete with the anthropomorphic hilt, there are not enough shields for my liking. Also the figures included are not the ones seen in any picture on the website. There's no doubt I will continue to buy Wargames Factory products and continue to support the company, but I'm glad I bought this along with the Celtic Warband, who found themselves continually raided for gear and heads. I did notice that some of the heads were repeated from the Celtic Warband (along with some new ones) but not enough of the weapons and equipment. My next purchase will be the Chariots.

These are good as far as plastic armies go and the price is very reasonable. I appreciate the flexibility of multiple weapons and heads. I just wish your company would produce more fantasy figures since I make dioramas and furnish them with lots of figures. I would also like 28mm. Although the scale on these is supposed to be 25mm, they are actually very small.
