I am very interested in this product and look forward to seeing images of the figures. I really like the idea of separate pieces, it makes them more interesting. I would like to see images of the figures or sprues before rating them.

I am in the same boat as to say I can not buy without seeing the quality of the miniatures. Why not add photos right below the art work with painted and un painted. guess I will not buy until i see something either here or at my local game store. =( p.s. the romans in the workbench look good, but are they the actual figures from the box? -steven
Yelf commented on 28-Apr-2008 06:57 AM3 out of 5 stars

What transfers will fit the Gallic shields, as it is the shields which really make them stand out?

Excited about what you're doing, but I'm afraid won't be buying until I can either see the actual figures, some pics would be very welcome please. Looking forward to future offering.

I plan on buying 3-4 boxes on release, as well as the same number of chariots and cavalry. After buying and coverting 3 Warlords sets, very taken with the plastics idea. Will we see celt warbands by Cold Wars in March?
Pijlie commented on 12-Feb-2009 07:43 AM3 out of 5 stars
Any news on the launch date?

I find it unbelievable that many of the commentors are postponing their purchase until they 'see' the figures. What more do you want??? You see the pics and much more info that ANY other company would ever think to provide prior to a product hitting the market; they are a fabulous deal (low cost per figure) that can't be over looked. So, what are some of you waiting for??!!?? Buy them NOW!!!!
Liam Sullivan commented on 05-Mar-2009 10:35 PM5 out of 5 stars
I can't wait to find these in the stores! They models look awesome and they will be a much desired part of my collection, Thank you for making them! Liam

Got 20 free this weekend at Cold Wars (10 for me and 10 for son),put them together yesterday all different poses. Rank up very well against my BTDs. Looking forward to seeing how they take the paint. Hoping for EIRs and Chariots to come. So far very enthused!

Excellent. Page bookmarked, friends alarmed. And if you produce samurai pack, I am maxing out my credit card!

Far less expensive than Warlord Games figures, though I am curious on how closely they are in scale to my Prince August 28mm celts, @ this price though they're worth the $$ to check out & far less expensive than Warlord Games chariot squadron
percy barbarossa commented on 20-Apr-2009 01:50 PM5 out of 5 stars
I just got the celt warband in the mail (took 1 week, fast)& these are perfectly scale to Prince August's "cast your own" & Renegade's Punic wars @ a far lower price, best yet my local hobby shopp is now carring them. Now I need to pre-order another cetic cavalry after seeing how good these are.Excellent work!
Jason commented on 03-Sep-2009 02:27 PM5 out of 5 stars
These figures are fantastic. The poses are very dynamic, the selection of weapons, heads, shields etc. is astounding. They paint up easily. Transfers aren't my thing, but the ones included are excellent. What's more, they arrived very quickly. For the money, you can't go wrong.
Ed commented on 22-Sep-2009 11:12 PM5 out of 5 stars
These are awesome figures as are the rest of the line that I have seen. These will not only be used in historical but when I play fantasy they will be used as Empire swordsmen or spearmen,as some sort of mercenary band. The price makes them right and they are superior in every way to GW products, most especially in that they are not attempting to fleece their customers. Good job.
Tye commented on 06-Oct-2009 06:25 AM5 out of 5 stars
They are fantastic! One question though, do they come with squares bases like with the romans or are they the round ones?
Goddy commented on 17-Nov-2009 05:15 AM4 out of 5 stars
Going to make a little warband of these guys plus some cav for Ancients they are going to look so awesome cant wait to get fighting those Evil Romans :)

Had a chance to play with Steve Dake's armies at Spartacon recently. Such an amazing variety of figures! And nicely painted I might add. The two piece bodies give much more flexibility when assembling. I'm afraid I'm hooked.
Thom O commented on 29-Jan-2010 03:04 PM5 out of 5 stars
Really nice figures. I really liked the two piece bodies, which there would have been another chainmailed warrior figure in a different pose. These are real nice figures and paint up great! Keep up the great work!!!
