Can you tell me what size bases are included, and how many?

I am dissapointed by the proportions of the legs... They look too small. :(
Shaun Higton commented on 19-Sep-2011 11:25 AM5 out of 5 stars
These are awesome! Having assembled a "Death Korps" army from the first set, these will be another "must have" buy. Cannot wait to get my hands on them, and get them ready for the table. An excellent job, well done to the sculptor.
Jimmy commented on 19-Sep-2011 11:12 PM4 out of 5 stars
Self, the proportions of the legs are the same as the original shock troopers there's a picture on the preview comparing the two
Edward commented on 22-Sep-2011 03:05 PM4 out of 5 stars
@Anonymous - it does now, but it didn't when I posted the question! I've put these on my wishlist, but not on my 'rush out and buy right now' list.
Darwin commented on 23-Sep-2011 03:07 AM5 out of 5 stars
Been waiting a while for these. You guys fixed the foot, the hats, everything we asked for. My thanks, and I will be ordering two sets to start through my local hobby shop. Keep up the good work. Now, perhaps something for them to ride in or on.
Darwin commented on 23-Sep-2011 03:30 AM5 out of 5 stars
Hope you kept some of the newer heads, torsos, and some of the arms with the more rounded sholdier armor. Also some of the squatting legs could find some good use in my army.

Oh, no.... Now I'll totally have to buy this.....

Jimmy - I think Self is referring to the proportion of the lower legs vs the forearm. The standing poses look fine - the kneeling and sitting figures are off a little though.
Abortion Headbutt commented on 29-Sep-2011 08:21 PM5 out of 5 stars
I like it. Like many others, I have been holding off on the infantry until these arrive. If I order 5 sets of infantry and 2 heavy weapons boxes, do the combine for the discount?
Wargames Factory commented on 30-Sep-2011 12:08 AM5 out of 5 stars
Headbutt, the 3x and 7x deals only apply to orders of the same set and can't be combined.
Chris H commented on 03-Oct-2011 03:26 PM3 out of 5 stars
You should do some combined infantry and Heavy Weapon deals for the people like Headbutt.

Sorry to pollute the comments with questions, but does this kit only include 1 of each heavy weapon? I've got my fingers crossed in the hopes it includes multiples because paying $15 for a mortar support squad would be awesome.
Klyde commented on 07-Oct-2011 07:10 PM5 out of 5 stars
@ anon - the set comes with six figures and the three heavy weapons. painitng mine at the moment!

I've been looking forward to these guys, and your sculpting team didn't disappoint. My order's been placed and I'm a happy man. Can't wait for your next figure set/armored vehicle/alien race/whatever, plus some cool rules so we can play "Alien Suns" for
a little gaming variety outside of you-know-who!
major gamer commented on 27-Oct-2011 04:42 PM2 out of 5 stars
i am sorry, i must be honest, bluntly these figures are really bad-i'm sorry, it's just if i want to buy miniatures from anyone i want them to look like actual humans, these minis have more orkish proportions, and the weapons look like cabinets with low
budjet movie-props for battleship guns on them attached to tiny tripods, and the missile launcher/rpg looks like a small rafter on a remote control for a miniature rc car, and the very world war 2 looking officer has a katana that really doesn't seem to fit
the style of what you guys seem to go for, and overall the detailing isn't all that good, please, i think you can do better-sorry

I purchased the Greatcoat Troopers box to use the parts for conversions to the OTHER sci-fi wargame. The quality of these models are AMAZING for the price.
Sut commented on 14-Nov-2011 06:56 PM3 out of 5 stars
@Major Gamer,ok, I don't have the minis in front of me, if you do I bow to your 1st hand exp, but the proportions look alright, you gotta remember that in minis the proportions are always gonna be slightly off, esp in hands & weapons. I kinda see where
the cabinet comment comes from but real life generators are boxy (to be efficient size-wise). The missile launcher looks fine & the mortar crew look v. realistic. I'm not saying your opinion is moot, just that you're maybe a little harsh on WGF ;)
Shaun Higton. commented on 17-Nov-2011 10:56 AM4 out of 5 stars
Having assembled the first set as Death Korps for "that wargame", I am more than satisfied with the quality AND price of your figures, and will purchase several asts of these Heavy Weapons. GW want to watch out, as these are economical AND more than a
match for their resin minis.
a modeller commented on 18-Nov-2011 08:49 AM4 out of 5 stars
I got a set of these, and it's great, but I feel it's missing one part that would make this set solid: a loose rocket. The minigun has a spare canister, the energy cannon has an external battery pack, and the mortar has shells, but where's the rocket?
For me, a detail like that allows me to make a more dynamic "scene" with the heavy weapons team
Shaun Higton commented on 25-Nov-2011 10:58 AM4 out of 5 stars
To "a modeller". The cadian heavy weapon set has loose rockets so you could always use that. As previously stated these are the same scale as GW minis, and therefore the components from one will fit the other.

Just purchased this kit. An outstanding product -- well done!

Having, like so many others who have commented on here, made my army along the lines of FW's DKK, I have to heartily agree that FW & GW both want to watch their 6's here. The Wargames Factory minatures are superb value & I have spent many happy hours building
& in some instances converting to combine special weapons etc from "you-know-who's" range of figures. Last Xmas I got 7 sets of Shock Troops & was extremely impressed, thsi year WF have surpassed themselves & have provided an unparallelled product (I have
3 HW sets & think I can do some converting to actually make a few extras too!). Lads, this gets 11/10. Brilliant work!!!
ekalb commented on 04-Jan-2012 03:27 PM5 out of 5 stars
I just got mine all put together and am very impressed with how fast it got here as well as how detailed the figures are for the price they sell for! I am going to pick up more of these heavy weapons as well as the shook troops in the future! My only minor
annoyance is that the box doesn't come with instructions, making the missile launcher a bit hard to figure out at first. Everything else is great.
Steve commented on 03-Feb-2012 09:38 PM5 out of 5 stars
GW can shove it! They're overpriced and don't release models fast enough. 3rd party companies like Wargames Factory and Mr. Dandy are providing models that GW seem unable or unwilling to... For a bargain price too. I look forward to building my new Guardsmen
army using these fantastic models. Keep up the good work.
